Now that 2022 is well underway, I'd like to mark its particular significance for Jebsen & Jessen Technology Turf & Irrigation (T&I) as we celebrate two decades of providing innovative and reliable turf and landscaping solutions across the SEA region. It is with great pride and pleasure that I am able to hail this milestone with all our colleagues and customers.
The past twenty years have exposed us to the full gamut of life: global political upheavals, waves of economic highs and lows, a 2-year pandemic that forced people around the world into locked-down isolation, as well as the personal triumphs and losses that must inevitably greet every one of us. When I joined Jebsen & Jessen thirteen years ago, I was excited by the company's potential and future. Today, I am immensely proud to be part of a business that continues to weather any storm with composure and farsightedness. The Group's timeless values of entrepreneurship, prudence, commitment, trust and partnership have offered us strength and support even when the world around us has seemed shaky and full of uncertainty.
An unwavering focus on these values has allowed T&I to maintain consistent, impressive growth. Most recently, this includes winning two awards at the 2021 Toro Company Distributor Awards for irrigation sales and service in the region. On the business side of things, on top of a series of new projects across the region, T&I has also signed a 10-year contract with Sentosa, one of the world's most prestigious golf clubs. These achievements would be inspiring even if it weren't for the unprecedented challenges that we have all faced in the last two years. Despite these setbacks, T&I is entering its next vicennial more successful than ever.
None of T&I's accomplishments as a company, however, would be possible without our customers, partners and colleagues. I am grateful for those who have been with us for years, as well as those who've joined us recently. The people driving T&I forwards truly are a force to be reckoned with, and I'm thrilled to be along for the ride. I'm absolutely certain it'll only get bigger and better from here.
