Jebsen & Jessen Technology Turf & Irrigation Appoints New Regional Director

We are pleased to welcome Philipp Hoffmann as our new Regional Director, effective 1 January 2022.

Mr Hoffmann first joined the Jebsen & Jessen Family Enterprise in 2007 as an ​ intern for sister-group GMA Garnet in Perth, Australia. After a brief stint at Tesa ​ Tape Asia-Pacific in 2008, he returned to the group in 2009, working for Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients in Thailand. He held various regional marketing and business ​ development roles in Ingredients before being appointed as General Manager – and ​ later Managing Director - of the newly formed joint-venture JJ-Pun in Myanmar in 2011. In 2016, Mr Hoffmann worked as President for start-up company YPB Group in Thailand, then returned to Myanmar in 2018 to join our joint-venture partner, Yoma Group, as Chief Performance Officer and Chief of Staff. He was seconded as Managing Director of JJ-Pun in 2020.

Mr Hoffmann earned a degree in International Business from Kiel University of Applied Sciences in Germany, and an MBA from the University of Waikato in New Zealand.

In his new role, Mr Hoffmann will lead the Turf & Irrigation team, across the region, to continue growing the organisation to better serve our customers with comprehensive and innovative solutions for their turf & landscaping needs.
